Barekamutyun Metro Station in Yerevan

Barekamutyun Metro Station is one of the two main terminal stations of Yerevan Metro and an important transport point for the Arabkir side of the city. The name Barekamutyun means “Friendship” in Armenian, and the station has served Yerevan since the opening of the original metro line in 1981. For passengers travelling from the north-western side of the city toward central Yerevan, Republic Square, Sasuntsi Davit or Shengavit, Barekamutyun is a practical and familiar starting point.
